Sarra A. Founder, Experienced Admissions Interviewer

In the college admissions process, the interview is the final step and one students tend to dread. It's the one moment that can't be revised or done for them — just the student, the interviewer, and a few questions that suddenly feel enormous.
Here's what I learned on the other side of that table as an admissions interviewer for both Stanford and Duke: the students who did well were simply prepared to be themselves. And that calm isn't luck; it's practice. Saying the words out loud, before it counts, with someone who knows what an interviewer is really listening for.
That's what I do — real mock interviews, honest feedback, and the reps it takes to walk in steady and sound like themselves. No script, no rotating team of counselors: just me, working with each student until the part they dread becomes the part they're ready and excited for.
